Living like kings
Knowing nothing about the world
A slave, a subject of your lust
I think you were like us
Think you meant all your words
But where is the artist
I can just read
The banker in your eyes
I can just read
The greed on your lies
Where is your soul today
Where is your heart
Do you remember what it was about
Do you remember now
Let me remind you something I care
It was about passion
It was about a revolution
It was about a war
About no stars
It was about friends
About fun
There was no end
No fucking make up

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
